ETCOP Institute Honors Outstanding Research at Annual Award Ceremony in Salzburg

Klagenfurt, Austria – 16.08.2025 – The ETCOP Institute for Interdisciplinary Research proudly hosted its annual Outstanding Research Awards ceremony in Salzburg, recognizing groundbreaking contributions in the fields of education, digital transformation, and applied research.

Outstanding Research Award

This year’s Outstanding Research Awards were presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anna Stein, Board Member of the ETCOP Institute, and Dr. Onyx Walker, Senior Researcher at the Institute. Both were honored for their exceptional contributions to interdisciplinary research and for advancing innovative practices with real-world impact.

The awards were formally presented by the ETCOP Award Committee,  Prof. Emily Johnson (USA), Dr. Sarah Mitchell (USA)Prof. Li Wei (China), and Dr. Anika Desai (India). The committee emphasized that the achievements of Dr. Stein and Dr. Walker reflect the very mission of the ETCOP Institute: bridging the gap between academic research, professional practice, and global challenges.
