The ETCOP Institute for Interdisciplinary Research is proud to be featured in the EAfA Compendium of Good Practices, published by the European Commission.
This recognition highlights our Blended Learning Model as an innovative contribution to the development of vocational education and training (VET) in Europe.
Our approach focuses on combining digital tools with real-world learning experiences, supporting the development of essential digital and green skills. Blended learning, as defined in European education policy, integrates traditional teaching with online and practice-based learning environments, creating more flexible and inclusive learning pathways.
The ETCOP model particularly addresses:
- the integration of digital and sustainability-related competencies
- the connection between theory and workplace practice
- the inclusion of underrepresented groups, especially girls and women in STEM
By combining online learning, virtual classrooms, and hands-on activities, the model contributes to a more modern, inclusive, and practice-oriented VET system. We are honored to contribute to this European initiative and to support the ongoing transformation of apprenticeship systems across Europe.
