Florence, Italy – 19.06.2026 – Representatives of the ETCOP Institute for Interdisciplinary Research met with project partner Emm&mme Informatica in Florence, Italy, for a coordination meeting within the Erasmus+ project FINANSAFER.

The meeting focused on the technical implementation and upcoming development activities of the project. Partners reviewed the current progress, coordinated the next implementation phases, and discussed the integration of digital solutions that will support the project's objective of preventing financial exploitation among older adults through innovative educational resources and digital tools.

Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen the long-standing partnership between ETCOP and Emm&mme Informatica. Face-to-face collaboration enabled productive exchanges of ideas, reinforced mutual trust, and confirmed the partners' shared commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of international cooperation within the EU co-funded programme. By combining expertise from different European organisations, the FINANSAFER consortium continues to develop practical, innovative, and user-oriented solutions that contribute to improving financial literacy, awareness, and protection for older adults across Europe.

Set against the inspiring backdrop of Florence, the meeting demonstrated once again that successful European projects are built not only on innovation and technical excellence but also on strong partnerships and meaningful human connections.

The ETCOP Institute for Interdisciplinary Research thanks Emm&mme Informatica for the warm hospitality and looks forward to continuing the successful collaboration during the next stages of the FINANSAFER project.
